{"id":4808,"date":"2024-03-07T09:24:45","date_gmt":"2024-03-07T08:24:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/panszky.hu\/?p=4808"},"modified":"2024-03-07T11:06:20","modified_gmt":"2024-03-07T10:06:20","slug":"nmhh-decree-no-2-2024-i-23-on-the-national-advertising-register","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/panszky.hu\/en\/nmhh-decree-no-2-2024-i-23-on-the-national-advertising-register\/","title":{"rendered":"NMHH Decree No. 2\/2024 (I. 23.) on the National Advertising Register"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><u>NMHH Decree No. 2\/2024 (I. 23.) on the National Advertising Register was published on 23 January 2024 by the President of the National Media and Infocommunications Authority (\u201cNMHH\u201d) and <strong>entered into force on 24 January 2024<\/strong><\/u>, according to which, at the request of the owner of the advertising device, the NMHH will register the advertising device &#8211; if it is placed in compliance with the regulations on the protection of the townscape &#8211; in the National Advertising Register kept by the NMHH.<\/p>\n<p>As previously reported in our article entitled &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/panszky.hu\/szigoritana-a-reklamok-reklamhordozok-es-reklamtarto-berendezesek-elhelyezeset-a-magyar-epiteszetrol-szolo-torveny\/\"><strong>The Architecture Act plans to introduce more stringent rules on the placement of advertisements, advertising media and advertising support equipment<\/strong><\/a>&#8220;, the main aim of the law, which was still at the conceptual level at the time, is to prevent the placement of advertising media that would destroy the townscape, so each advertising medium must be registered, which will be kept by the National Media and Infocommunications Authority, and the placement of advertisement will only be legal on advertising devices listed in the National Advertising Register.<\/p>\n<p><u>Therefore, if the competent municipality has classified the given advertising device &#8211; which means the advertising medium and the equipment supporting the advertising medium together &#8211; as being in compliance with the regulations for the protection of the townscape before 1 January 2024, it must be notified to the NMHH by 1 February 2024 in one of the following ways<\/u>:<\/p>\n<p><strong>a.) if the owner is a business entity, through the administrative portal (Adatkapu) of NMHH;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>b.) if the owner is a natural person, by submitting an e-paper.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The registration fee and the annual fee are both HUF 15,000 per advertising space.<\/strong> (An advertising device may consist of one or more advertising surfaces.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>The annual fee must be paid by 1 March<\/strong> and is payable by the person who is listed in the National Advertising Register as the owner of the advertising device on 1 February of the year in question.
